Have you ever thought about all the waves around you when you are not at the beach? Cell phones, WiFi, GPS, radio, TV – they’re everywhere. How do you catch them to have a conversation or send a picture? Dale Clement, AF1T, Vice-President and Program Director of the Contoocook Valley Radio Club, will explain and show you how we catch these waves with some “illuminating” demonstrations. Have you ever seen a hot dog used as an antenna? Experience a ham radio transmission and find out how you too can become a “ham.” Pizza, soda and soda provided at no extra charge.
