Again this winter the Chester Rod and Gun Club in association with the UNH Cooperative Extension 4-H youth development services, will be hosting a shooting sports program starting on Saturday November 19th at 9AM. The program will run every other Saturday to the end of April at the CRnG clubhouse and indoor range located at 99 Rod and Gun Club Road, off route 102 in Chester.
The schedule may be modified due to weather and other uncontrollable factors. The program, run by Mike King and Bob Lamothe, offers both Archery and .22 Rifle. The program teaches safe and responsible use of firearms and archery equipment, sound decision making, self-discipline and concentration. We promote the highest standards of safety, sportsmanship and ethical behavior. Overall, we encourage our students to enjoy the program and have fun under the guidance and tutelage of their instructors. All equipment and ammunition are provided, though students who have their own ear and eye protection are encouraged to bring them.

There is a one time registration fee of $10 per student per season. All Grade School through High School students over the age of 8 are welcome, you need not be a member of 4-H nor a member of CRnG to participate. Our philosophy is simple, not all students are on the honor roll nor can they all be good athletes, shooting sports may be an area a student can excel and earn self esteem.
